Booking online was an advantage. We found the hotel as advertised. Service and staff made us feel welcome. The Marais is a great section of Paris to visit!

Our stay was great. The staff was friendly and curteous and because we went in August, the boys school which is located across the street was out which made for a quiet week. The hotel was in an ideal location just minutes away from Notre Dame and a slew of nightlife. I would definitely come back.

Great hotel, very good breakfasts, helpful friendly staff. Excellent location. Only misleading bit was I thought there would be a little garden to sit in after a busy day sightseeing.

Overall, a reasonably good hotel, but we were both surprised it had 3 stars.
Breakfast was reasonable, staff were helpful and friendly, but the decor was disappointing and the room was very small (1 metre around the bed on all sides).
Air conditioning worked very well.
I would not stay in this hotel again - next time I should book a 4-star hotel - I am surprised room standards are so low in Paris.

nice very small hotel with just three rooms att every floor. Hotel staff was nice welcoming. We had a small double room, very clean ang a very nice and clean bathroom.Situated at a small quiet street very close to Rue de Rivoli. Situated in the Marais district which is best possible surroundings if you want to experience Paris. We bought 10 tickets to the Metro in advance bus didn´t use them, we walked to most places we wanted to see. I would choose the same hotel once more, if I ever get back to this city. Breakfast was ok, could have been more interesting..

When we dragged ourselves out of the cab after flying to Paris from the West Coast they did not have our reservation beginning until the following night, despite an email confirmation from this web site. They were full, and so was everything in the neighborhood. Hotels in Paris are busy, and we had a tough time finding a place for that first night. After that, Jardin was a great place to be - clean, wonderful location, and quiet. Honestly however, it does not merit 3 stars.

Hello,
I stayed at this hotel for 4 nights. My mother and I shared one double room and found it perfectly agreeable,clean, and with a friendly and helpful staff. I was also happy to find such a nice, yet inexpensive room in the Marais district, which is not always easy to find. I'm likely to use this service again.

Room on the top floor with an exelent view. Friendly staff. Cleaning every day. The bath was very nice. The location of the hotel vas very good.

ve a bath, only shower. I must say the rooms were cleaned, towels changed and beds made up every day during four day stay. We did not eat in the hotel so I cannot comment on that. There was no breakfast room only a little section in the foyer and I wouldnt think one could be comfortable eating there.The staff were very friendly but the hotel badly needs a re-vamp, so price a little excessive for what we got.

Avec l'hôtel en général nous étions très satisfait. Le seul point négatif concerne le "staff". Ils était trop souvent peu charmant et pas motivé du toût. Mais nous retournerons certainement dans cet hôtel.

Room was OK, but not exceptional. It was supposed to be air-conditioned, but the air-conditioner did not work very well. It was cool enough to sleep with the windows open, although it was quite noisy.
How was the staff ?
OK. We didn't see much of the staff.
Will you return to this hotel ?
Possibly, because the location was very good and the price was reasonable.
Will you use our service again ?
Not sure. When we got to the hotel, they did not have a record of our reservation, and first said they did not have a room for us. Fortunately, I had kept a printout of your confirmation with the confirmation number, so they finally gave us a room. They had received a reservation from you for some other people, but they did not have ours.

I had a very wonderful stay in Paris. I thank you for your website. I stayed at this hotel for 16 days. It was very nice. The staff was very friendly. The beds were comfortable and the air conditioning worked well.
The only negative comment I have is that the picture on your website looks alot prettier than the room actually is. And the room looks much bigger in your website picture. We did feel a little cramped. And because of that I think the price is a little high. This hotel had a 3 star in 2001 and I would have liked to know ahead of time that and what the star rating was for 2002. But the staff was so nice that it made it ok. They took very good care of us. I thought the hotel staff was exellent; however, we still have not received items that were left in the room and that they told us they were sending.
Also, our room was only cleaned once in the four days we were there.

The hotel was clean/up-to-date/air-conditioned; location was great.
However, there were some problems with the hotel:
-It seems that things were breaking down and they weren't being fixed. There was a non-stop somewhat loud "humming" noise coming from the ventilation or the elevator shaft that could be heard in the rooms (it sounded like some something was breaking) and this was for three nights I stayed there. At times it was hard to sleep.
-The second night suddenly there problems with TV reception. This is a minor issue, however.
-I wanted to borrow an iron. The reception gave me an iron that was falling apart (it was probably not that safe when it's hot). They had no ironing board.
-When I asked about luggage storage they wanted to store my luggage in the reception lobby (the problem here is that during the day the lobby is open to the street and the people at the reception are not always there). The hotel should have a storage room for such things.
I know that the hotel was low priced, but in comparison, I stayed in an even lower priced hotel in Boulogne, and I never encountered those issues.

We took 3 rooms for two nights for 440Euros.
Room quality was below average.
Staff were not professional in treating customers.
Breakfast was not very good, better to go to the nearest cafe.
We won't be staying here again, better to try another hotel.
