Timhotel Montmartre, entirely renovated with airconditioning in 2004. The location is exceptional. Perched on the slopes of Montmartre, next to the Bateau Lavoir of Picasso, the location of this 59 room hotel is one of the most desirable in Paris. It looks like a scene from a picture postcard.

Situation géographique très bien, mais nous avons été très déçu par l'accueil qui est inexistant. Pour un hotel de cette classe, certe la climatisation fonctionnait mais les fenêtres n'ont pas de double vitrage, d'ou beaucoup de bruit extétieur, insonorisation défaillante au niveau des portes des chambres. Salle d'eau petite et douche parfaite pour les "lilliputiens".

The service did not work at all: The hotel did not remember any reservation nor were they familiar with bookings through France Hotels.net at all. We were too trustful and discovered that only a day before the planned stay, which was holy friday! Anybody making these bookings should call the hotel immediately to confirm booking.

The hotel was outstanding value at it's price; we had a standard double room. Simple but clean and comfortable, the staff polite and helpful, and the location vis a vis Montmarte perfect - the nearby Metro station is very convenient for access to central Paris. The only small criticism we would make is of the area in which the breakfast is served, which is functional to the point of being barrack - like.
We would certainly stay there again, and were grateful for your service in booking which we will certainly use again.

We stayed just one night and didn't need services for this time.The room was comfortable an the staff was nice.But I missed a hair-drier !!I knew later that I could get one at the reception.
As we really like the area and the location, we will return to this hotel.
